In the 1990s, Arnold Schwarzenegger tricked Sylvester Stallone into starring in Stop! Or My Mom Will Shoot. 

They used to have such a fierce rivalry that they refused to be in the same room, so Arnold spread a rumor that he was interested in the part in hopes of getting Stallone’s attention.

Said Stallone: “I heard Arnold wanted to do that movie and after hearing that, I said I wanted to do it. He tricked me! He’s always been clever.”
