By the time they were 11, Lara and Mara Bawar were already famous. The twins’ albinism caught the eye of photographer Vinicius Terranova, who did portraits of them and their sister Sheila to show ‘how diverse, majestic, and perfect beauty can be’ and that being different only ‘makes you more beautiful and special.’ All 3 were later signed as professional models.
