One of Al Capone’s greatest escape methods was his ‘killer’ Cadillac. The armored car’s bullet-proof windows were at least 1" thick, it weighed over 3.5 tons, and it was capable of 110mph speeds. Capone also equipped the car with one of the first regulation police pick-up radios to ever be installed in an automobile, as well as a police siren to trick people into getting out of his way.
